UPDATE: Volunteers and funding for the Fireworks

This past year Love Upper Perk has taken over the management of the 4th of July festivities in New Goshenhoppen Park.  This event is a highlight for many families in during the summer. A chance to get some great food, listen to music, and enjoy a wonderful fireworks show.  All rallying together with friends, family, and neighbors.  This past year we estimated at least 8000 people watched the fireworks shine in the night sky. In 2015 we had the fireman’s battle, local churches provide food and two different musical performances, one being the Red Hill Band, all leading up to the fireworks.  It was a wonderful time for all that attended.  For 2016 we  NEED volunteers to be a part of the various committees that we have surrounding that day.  We need folks to assist in parking, organizing events in the park, overseeing the food vendors.  We are at a point if we don’t have people to run the activities we cannot have a time of fireworks.    If you want to come and be a part of this amazing event on July 4th 2016 please contact Scott Roth (scott@loveupperperk.org)  We are at the point of stopping the fireworks all together if we don’t have the volunteers to do the event.   Events like this do not happen without people getting behind it.
